Welcome to JR Zone!

Established at our present location in Newport in 2005, JR Zone is a dedicated facility offering indoor soft play and associated activities plus the Isle of Wight’s only multi-level indoor Laser Storm arena.

Originally called Jolly Roger’s Plaice (and still fondly referred to as such by many) due to our original nautical / Pirate based theme, the name change in 2008 corresponded with a rebranding following the introduction of our extremely popular team-based laser gun role play facilities.

Today, JR Zone caters for the indoor entertainment needs of all ages – from our hugely successful Stay & Play sessions, hosted birthday parties, through to our after-hours laser tournaments and even private hires of the facility for all age groups, including adults.

So all of you 30 and 40-somethings who declare that “they never had anything like this when I was a kid” now have no excuse!

Open 7 Days, Rain or Shine

No matter what the weather brings, JR Zone is open 7 days a week for play. You will need to book before arrival, and this can be done through our online booking page. We have plenty of parking and the coffee is always hot! Free high-speed WiFi is available throughout the building, so you can make the most of your quiet time whilst the little ones play. JR Zone is the perfect place to take the kids for safe, indoor play. Situated in the outskirts of Newport, there is ample free parking and caters for babies through to adults. JRs play area is open for scheduled play sessions 7 days a week, except for certain special dates. Our café serves hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks.
